So I have re-read Divergent. Not because I was desperate for more Tris Prior, but because I have decided to write my own fiction and I wanted to learn from Veronica Roth.

I have my story and I am about 15k words in, but it is always good to remind yourself on the works of authors who inspire you.

In reading Divergent again, I realised that although I didn’t miss Tris. I did miss her love story with Four. I then watched the film, then the second film. I don’t like the films.

Something I have made notes on, is Roth’s first person, present tense writing. All lessons!
